Equiq Gastro Spa

Equiq Gastro Spa is a gastric support supplement formulated exclusively from natural ingredients, developed to support the prevention and management of equine gastric and intestinal disorders. Its carefully selected components contribute to the protection of the gastric mucosa and support healthy digestive function in sport and leisure horses exposed to modern management conditions.

Equine Gastric and Intestinal Health Under Modern Management

Intensive stabling, limited or no access to pasture, high-concentrate feeding, and stress associated with training, competition, transportation, and daily work are well-recognized risk factors for gastrointestinal disturbances, including gastric ulceration.

Common Clinical Signs of Gastrointestinal Imbalance in Horses

Such conditions may lead to clinical signs such as

- recurrent colic,

- reduced feed efficiency,

- weight loss,

- poor body condition,

- dull coat quality,

- and increased nervousness or behavioral changes.

Nutritional Considerations for Stabled Sport and Leisure Horses

The nutritional management of stabled horses requires particular attention to adequate hydration, the continuous availability of high-quality forage, and the correct feeding order, frequency, and composition of concentrate feeds, always adjusted to the individual requirements of the horse.

Why Equiq Gastro Spa?

Equiq Gastro Spa provides comprehensive digestive support by not only alleviating clinical symptoms but also addressing underlying contributing factors to gastrointestinal imbalance. Its complex formulation is designed to support gastric integrity, intestinal health, and optimal nutrient utilization as part of a well-managed feeding and care program.
